LANDER, Wyo. – The Wyoming Judicial Branch is expanding the Court Navigator Program to Fremont County, broadening access to a service that helps residents manage civil legal matters without an attorney.
The program connects self-represented individuals with trained volunteers who guide them through court procedures, help complete legal forms, and link them with available legal aid resources. Navigators assist with a range of civil matters, including eviction actions, domestic relations cases, and protection orders.
Fremont County residents can now schedule virtual appointments with a court navigator. Appointment information is available on the Wyoming Judicial Branch website.
Launched as a pilot program in April 2024, the Court Navigator Program was designed to improve access to justice for those navigating the court system on their own. Following a successful pilot period, the program is now growing to serve more Wyoming communities.
Court navigator services are currently available in Natrona, Uinta, Lincoln and Carbon counties.
