Legal Aid of Wyoming is a statewide, non-profit law firm providing assistance in civil legal matters to low-income citizens of Wyoming. A tribal advocate is also on staff to provide services to members of the Wind River Indian Reservation.
After being screened and qualified, hotline callers can speak to an attorney, get legal advice, and apply for extended services. Individuals can also schedule an appointment with a hotline attorney online and apply for services online 24/7.

TCATJC is a self-help resource center and offers free legal services to income-qualified persons in Teton, Sublette, and Lincoln counties.

The Civil Legal Services Clinic assists clients with a wide range of civil legal needs, including housing, expungement, family law, property disputes, consumer rights, education, veterans’ service-connected disability benefits, and other public benefits laws.

The Estate Planning and Probate Clinic provides estate planning and administration services for qualifying estates to low-income individuals in Wyoming. The Clinic drafts estate planning documents to assist clients in controlling the disposition of their property after death, as well as estate planning documents that are typically relied at the end-of-life. The Clinic offers services to estates that qualify for Summary Probate Procedures (generally estates less than $400,000). The Clinic’s mission is to help its clients maximize control over their end-of-life decisions and to secure their families’ future in the event of incapacity or death.

The Family and Child Legal Advocacy Clinic offers legal assistance and information that emphasizes dispute resolution, providing unbundled legal services, and extending legal information to self-represented litigants. Under the direct supervision of an experienced supervising attorney, student attorneys tackle civil legal issues, such as divorce, child custody, domestic violence, adoption, guardian ad litem appointments, and select immigration matters. Student attorneys also represent individuals in cases of child abuse and neglect, and termination of parental rights, with a special focus on resolutions tailored to families’ needs.

WCLC provides legal assistance in cases involving a child’s health, safety, education, or well-being, including juvenile court proceedings, education rights advocacy, access to health care and guardianship cases. WCLC also offers free mediation services in child disputes and reduced fee guardian ad litem services.

The Coalition represents low-income victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence and stalking with family law, housing, education, immigration, and economic issues with an emphasis on safety and self-sufficiency. The Coalition is a statewide program, providing holistic legal services to victims in every county of Wyoming.
